You can never take the ‘school‘ out of a teacher, even on their wedding day! Although, taking a first look on the album won’t really give you that impression that our bride and groom are teachers, there’s a significant detail that you couldn’t miss that just screams “Alright class, pencils up!”. But aside from this unique place-card, this event is filled with accents and decors that are sweet and elegant. Credits to the soft pink that just looked lovely spread throughout everything. Such a perfect summer wedding. Congratulations teachers Caleb & Rachel!
And of course, Happy Thanksgiving to our beloved readers!
Here’s what their photographer has to add about this wedding…
What do you think is the overall story for this album?
A lovely summer wedding at a romantic venue for two school teachers.
What was your favorite part of the day?
My favorite part of the day is as always being able to take photos of the couple in such beautiful surroundings.
Was there any Do it Yourself (DIY) projects? If so, can you describe them in detail?
Her mother made all the table runners. Almost all the florals on the tables were displayed in old antique silver containers, but my favorite thing were the pencils to show they guest were their seats would be. A perfect touch for two teachers – Dixon pencils for Mr. and Mrs. Dixon.
What were the highlights from the ceremony & reception?
The highlights to me are always the father walking his daughter into the ceremony and of course the first kiss. For me personally I love love the father daughter dance.
