The summer is definitely approaching here in Minnesota – which means it’s already here in the rest of the country. With wedding season in full swing, I was wondering why I haven’t seen something else perfectly seasonal in weddings. Gourmet ice and ice cream popsicles are on the trend uptick and would be an adorable addition to your wedding. You’d probably have to create a manned station because of the melting issue, but it’s a great way to include something unique that hasn’t peaked yet into your big day without much expense (you could even make them yourself if you’re having a backyard or more intimate wedding!). Above is some amazing inspiration plucked from around the web and, if you’re looking for some great ideas and recipes, check out Pops! by Krystina Castella, which is in my personal library and is highly recommended.

Great ideas! I hadn’t thought about popsicles whatsoever…I wonder how weird it would be to have them at a regular old bright modern, urban venue?
I don’t think so at all, particularly if you get a mold that’s slicker looking than your standard popsicle mold – like the purple and white layered one on the top. The book I recommended has a whole discussion on making your own molds, too, if you’re interested.
This is such a refreshing idea, no pun intended! Great party snack idea – wedding or otherwise.
Inspired bride…you`re inspiring me 🙂 lovely post
