by Niki in — Updated December 13, 2019

Hello, everone! Today I have the pleasure of sharing a beautiful homestyle wedding held on the church campgrounds the bride, Katey, had gone to since she was a child. With the help of friends and family, Katey and Hunter put together this DIY wedding that oozes charm. Katey had her mother’s wedding dress altered, and even made her own bouquet! Enjoy all the sweet details!

  3. These pictures are fabulous and I love the idea of hanging the dress from the roof of the house…it is so unique. The bridesmaid dresses are very unique and I like that they have a pattern.

  8. Thanks everyone! We had such a fun time planning the wedding and collecting “old” things for decorations. Most everything we used in the wedding was from my grandmother’s attic or thrift stores! The flower’s in my bouquet were lilac. We got all of the flowers from a local farmer’s market except for my bouquet. We ordered the lilacs wholesale from Publix and I made the bouquet the night before the wedding. The bridesmaid dresses were from Ann Taylor Loft! And we had the best photographers ever!!!!

  11. Just had to pop this up (with full credit of course!) on my blog, really loved these piccys. Ended up getting quite caught up in which elements I loved most, but think it has to be the little blue/green coloured vintage bits and bobs. And the little rustic wood touches. And the understated vintage feel of the dress… and I’m off again! Thanks so much for posting, a lovely morning treat.
