Concrete Jungle Where Intimate Weddings Are Made Of

by Niki in — Updated October 28, 2019

Kendra and Martin

Kendra and Martin lived and met in NYC. With Martin’s proposal under the beautiful colors of the autumn trees in Central Park, they knew they wanted a small and intimate wedding. Their wedding showcased the couple’s meaningful places in their relationship and who would have thought that in this concrete jungle, beautiful intimate weddings are indeed possible. Love can truly silence the busy streets of the Big Apple. Congratulations Kendra and Martin!

Extra Special Details From The Bride

❤ We made countless Pinterest boards full of inspiration and helpful tips from finding the perfect colors and style for my bouquet to organizing our seating chart.

❤ The escort card/key display with ‘The Key to a Happy Marriage’ frame. Martin wrote a beautiful message to our guests on the backs of each card and we loved that the antique keys doubled as beer bottle openers.

❤ Our cake topper was also great, discreetly sneaking in more of our goofy personalities with a little ‘cheeky touch’.

❤ We were able to incorporate our wooden ‘love’ blocks we made for our guests as part of our Save the Dates. We put a lot of work into these, using wood reclaimed from an old barn in NJ (where we live). Making these card/photo holders for our guests both reflected our creative personalities as well as set the mood for our intimate day ahead.
